Guakame was born with the idea of reinventing the world of 100% vegetable recipes on Instagram, taking them to a much more visual terrain and facilitating the process of creating the dish.
Our philosophy is based on making people understand that it is not necessary to eat meat or dairy to cook a tasty dish. We did not want to target only a 100% vegan audience, but also reach people who want to reduce their animal consumption, and introduce new products that they are not used to.

The Importance of Aesthetic and Well-Photographed Burgers on Social Platforms
In today’s digital age, the visual appeal of food is just as important as its taste. The rise of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest has transformed the way people perceive and engage with food. A beautifully crafted burger not only attracts attention but also creates a lasting impression, making food photography an essential element of modern dining experiences.
1. The Power of First Impressions
When scrolling through social media, users are bombarded with thousands of images daily. A perfectly stacked burger with a golden-brown bun, juicy patty, and vibrant toppings stands out in the endless sea of content, immediately capturing the viewer's attention. Bright colors, symmetrical arrangements, and artistic presentation create a visual feast that entices people to engage, like, and share the post. This increases the reach and visibility of a dish, making it more likely to go viral and attract food enthusiasts from all over the world.
2. Building Brand Identity and Recognition
For burger joints, restaurants, and food influencers, presenting burgers aesthetically is a powerful marketing tool. A strong visual identity helps establish a recognizable brand. When customers associate a certain style of burger presentation with a brand, they are more likely to remember it and revisit in the future. Consistently well-photographed burgers create a professional and appealing image, attracting new customers while maintaining loyalty from existing ones.
3. Enhancing the Dining Experience
The phrase "you eat with your eyes first" is truer than ever. The way a burger looks can greatly influence the overall dining experience. When a burger is visually appealing, it creates excitement and anticipation before the first bite. This psychological effect enhances the perception of flavor, making the meal seem even more delicious. A well-styled burger also encourages diners to take photos and share their experiences, further promoting the restaurant or chef behind the creation.
4. Driving Engagement and Social Media Growth
Social media algorithms prioritize content that generates engagement, meaning that the more visually striking a burger post is, the higher the chances of reaching a larger audience. A well-photographed burger is more likely to be shared, saved, and commented on, leading to increased followers and potential customers. The use of trending aesthetics, unique burger-stacking techniques, and high-quality photography can turn a simple meal into a viral sensation.
5. Influencing Food Trends
Aesthetic burger photography plays a significant role in shaping food trends. Towering gourmet burgers, colorful buns, and creative ingredient combinations have all gained popularity largely due to their visual appeal on social media. When a visually appealing burger trends online, it often leads to increased demand, encouraging more chefs, restaurants, and home cooks to adopt and innovate around it. This cycle of inspiration and reinvention continuously drives the evolution of modern burger culture.
6. Boosting Business and Sales
For burger businesses, visually appealing burgers translate directly into increased sales. Customers are more likely to visit a restaurant or order a burger they have seen beautifully presented online. High-quality images in menus, advertisements, and social media pages serve as powerful persuasion tools, convincing potential customers to make a purchase. Investing in burger aesthetics and professional photography can yield significant returns in customer engagement and revenue.
7. The Role of Photography in Creating Emotional Connections
Burger photography goes beyond aesthetics; it tells a story and evokes emotions. A warm, rustic image of a classic cheeseburger can bring feelings of nostalgia, while a sleek, modern shot of a gourmet burger can convey indulgence and creativity. By carefully curating the visual representation of burgers, brands and individuals can establish deeper connections with their audience, making their content more memorable and impactful.
Conclusion
In the era of social media, burgers are no longer just about taste—they are an experience that begins with sight. The importance of making burgers look aesthetically pleasing and photographing them well cannot be underestimated. Whether for personal branding, business marketing, or simply sharing a passion for food, investing in burger presentation and photography can lead to increased engagement, stronger brand identity, and greater success in the digital world. By mastering the art of burger aesthetics, one can turn an ordinary meal into a visual masterpiece that leaves a lasting impression.
